My meaning of home

I feel most at home somewhere cozy and safe. Somewhere cozy for me would have warm lights, blankets and pillows, a bed or chairs, music, plants, drawing materials and books. I'd like to be alone and with my ipad. I also love to be near my friends and be able to hang out with them. The place I feel most at home is my room. I feel safe and cozy there, especially when I close the door, turn on music and dim lights while I draw or read. I like to know that my parents are nearby in the other rooms, and my dog is with me. It makes me feel safe to know that I have everyone with me. It's very important to have a place that you can call home, otherwise you might feel lost or out of place all the time and you wouldn't have a place to go to, to feel like yourself. I can't imagine not having a safe space where I can do what I want, and be alone, and know it's just me. That makes me feel safe and cozy . For some people they don't have a Place they call home, but they might have people or a community that makes them feel safe and loved. That's why community is important, even if you have a nice cozy place, it can feel empty and alone if you don't have a strong community.
