What Makes a Home

A home is a feeling, a place. Home is the fluffy pillow waiting for me to come home from school. Home is my family, loving and warm.Home is my mom’s best chocolate-chip cookies. Home is my brother, loving and kind.Home is a place to be safe.Home is my theatre class with lots of fun, silly and sweet chit-chat. Home is my family, friends and community. Home is my Bubby and Yaya, kind and warm, who are always by my side. Home is my Embers with life long friends who learn together ,play together and have fun together.Home is my school where teachers help us learn. Home is the park where my friends and I play for hours and hours.Home is a place of love ,laughter and sweetness and I hope it is for you too.I thank Habitat for humanity for helping make the world a better place.
