What Home Means to Me

Home means to me being free. It’s coming home feeling safe and free. Playing with friends and family. It’s where love, hope and kindness rest Where we all can be our best It's my bed where I have my good days and my bad even when I am mad Home is my mom's cooking smelling all through the house and my sister roaming all around the house like a little mouse When the living room carpet is always there but hate it when it is wet cause it gives a scare Home is the second couch cause it has the biggest pouch Home is being tucked in bed when my family's love fills my head When my sister says “no goldfish for you cause they're all mine none for you" Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making homes for people of all kinds!
