Why my house is a home. By Madison In my opinion I have the best home. I have the best home because my family is always by my side. My home is encouraging, supporting and trustworthy. My home is encouraging to me because of all the things I hold back on, my family’s always there to push me forward and to encourage me to do things I don’t want to do. If I ever get bad grades or a bad test score my family is there to help me get better at what I did wrong. For example, on my first day of kindergarten my mom and my dad walked me up to the doors. I was really upset at first but then my mom convinced me to go inside and that day I had the best day ever! I also think my home is supportive because I don’t like sharing in front of people but my family always says it's not just you, a lot of other people will be afraid to. So I just kept trying to get over my fear of sharing in front of people but to this day my family is still supporting me for all the things I do. When I go to school every morning my family always says have a good day and learn some new things, you will always get smarter if you work hard. I always say to myself I'm really good at school and I feel like if I keep trying, my family is going to get more and more supportive than they already are. My final thing is trustworthy. My home is trustworthy because we make each other confident and keep each other’s secrets. My home is trustworthy when we all tell the truth and we never lie to each other. Just like how I can really trust my friend with everything I tell her. Every time my mom makes a promise to me she keeps it, that is how my home is trustworthy, it's not just my mom everyone in my family keeps their promises. In conclusion, that is why I think my family is encouraging, supportive and trustworthy. All those reasons stated are why I think my house is a home.
