What Home Means To Me
Home is where you feel you belong,
It’s where you feel extra strong.
It’s a safe haven and a comfort zone,
Where laughter is in the air and never groans.
Home is a place where you’re happy and loved,
It is a place where you’re never shoved.
It is where you’re with your loved ones,
Where we all gather for a good pun.
Home is where your best memories are,
It is where you heal your scars.
It’s where you look at the starry sky,
Where you dream, you can fly.
Home is more than just a place,
It is more than just a large space.
It is a feeling of security,
Where you develop maturity.
Home is where you can actually be yourselves,
It’s where you can come out of your shells.
Home is where everyone is welcome,
It is like you’re in God’s kingdom.
To me, home is the sound of clanging pans,
Where food will never be from cans.
Home will always smell like books,
Where no one will be judged by looks.
So this is the home that I love so much,
Where no one can ever hold a grudge,
Where love and joy will never cease,
Where there will forever be peace.
