Home Sweet Home
Home Sweet Home
There's a place that I call home,
Where lives me, my family and a garden gnome.
In that little home of mine
I feel safe, happy and free to shine.
No matter the size, big or small,
The love inside shall never fall.
Some weekends after school I plop right down,
And watch TV from sunset till dawn.
When my friends come over we laugh and giggle,
Even if we're in a bit of a pickle.
My room is the place I have my wildest dreams,
But wake up with a mind that’s bright and keen.
After a long tiring day, I go to sleep,
Where my furry little friend makes my night complete.
Home is somewhere I can say goodnight,
And not wake up with a single fright.
Some first nations who were here before all,
Now don't have a home to call.
To me this opportunity has truly shown,
That a home can feel more than a dome.
I wish one day everyone finds,
Their perfect home that’s true and divine.
