Meaning of Home

Home: is being with my Mom, Dad, and sister. Home: is being wrapped in a blanket of love so tight you can feel it far or near. Home: where love is stronger than earth itself. Home: where being together is better than anything in the whole wide world. Home: is where memories are made and stories are shared. Home: is a safe place to be with the ones you love. Home: is where Dad's cooking fills bellies with food and love. Home: is the feeling of grass between toes, the sun in your face and a nice cold freezie on a hot summer day. Home: where we go out to our camp and play tag with the mosquitos and the mosquitos always win. Home: where we pretend we're lost in the woods and play until Dad finds us. Home: is waking up to kisses from my cat's rough slimy tongue. Thank you Habitat for Humanity. For reading my writing about what home means to me.
