Home is a Place of Love

When I first walk into my home, I picture my family standing in front of me welcoming me with warm hugs. Home is a place where I feel welcomed, appreciated, and loved know matter who I am. Home is a place where I can help my mom in the kitchen bake while I get a little bit of cake batter on my forehead. My mom uses her soft gentle hand to wipe it off my face. Home is a place where I can show my true emotions and my true self. Home is a place full of emotions such as anger, sadness and happiness but most in my home there is love. Families are full of love. My home is made of love. Everyone has a home rich or poor. Home is not just a mansion or a spacious room. Home is the feelings you have in it like happiness but most of all it’s the memories like first steps or first words. Home has family, family builds up memories together. Home has everything you could ask for like food, a roof over your head and especially love. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity you do not know how much I appreciate your work as I also recently moved into a new home in late December, and I already can call my new house a home! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity.
