Home
A home is not a place, it is a feeling of being embraced and cherished. A home is not made from bricks or wood, a home is made of love and excitement. Home is not a home without family, love and encouragement. A house is not a home. A house is shelter, and a home is where you can act like your true self. A home is a place where memories never end. You can feel supported and have a lot of fun. A home is filled with joy, smiles and a bunch of laughs. When you leave it, it feels good but when you come back you feel better than when you left! In a home bad things feel like they don’t exist. Home is a place where you can stay away from bad storms and thoughts. When you are sad, everyone in your home makes you happy and motivated. My family makes my house a home.
My home is filled with love, support and joy. I feel comfortable and safe at home. My memories of home will keep going forever. When I walk into my home after school, all my tiredness leaves my body. Home is where my habits have a habitat. My family is the heart of my home. The most important thing to me is my home because I feel secure, safe and loved. My home is the treasure chest of living. The best part of my home is who I share it with. To me my home is spectacular. I love my family. 😘
Saying all these things about my home makes me feel bad for the people that don’t have one. That’s why Habitat for Humanity is here to help. Helping build a home for someone would make me feel proud. I am even proud of the 10 dollars that will be donated because I wrote this essay. I know that it will help the people who need a home. And I know this piece of writing helped me get better at writing as well. And I want to say a big thank you to Habitat for Humanity for building great homes for young and old people.
