Home is where the heart is

A home is different than a house. A house is something that is made from materials but, when you build a house there is no love or kindness or curiousness quite yet. You need to add your favourite things and all the people that you love. A home is a place that has so many feelings inside. The feelings inside a home can be angry, sad, excited, happy and many more. A home is a place where you can be yourself without feeling that you are judged or that you’re too loud. For example, you are free to FEEL! Home is a place where you are comfortable with your surroundings and just comfy in general! :) Houses with no love or no feelings just don't feel good😣. Sometimes you need a house to make your home or maybe school is home to you, maybe your friends are your home as well. It is kinda complicated! To me, home doesn’t need a big house or anything fancy, home needs the feeling that you belong. In a house AND a home, you need encouragement and determination. How does your home feel to YOU? My home is always filled with family, whether it's all the cousins or the adults. My home makes me feel accepted and cherished. I feel like I belong. But of course, there are times I don't feel that way. My home is comfortable to me and so are my surroundings. My family is the heart and soul of my home. What I love most about my home is the people I share it with. 💖 What makes me sad about writing this is that other young people don’t get to experience the same things that I do. Everyone deserves to feel happy no matter what they do or what they look like. I want others to have a house, because they need a house to build a home. I am so glad that I got to write about the meaning of home. I have a house and a home even when others don’t have one or the other or even both.
