Habitat for Humanity
Home can be anything.
Home can be a place, a feeling, love, maybe peace.
A small fluffy puppy, or even a great big beast.
But most of all, home is with the people that catch you when you fall.
The people who love you most of all.
They love you unconditionally,
Even when you disagree.
Chaos, laughter and comfort fills the air.
It makes all your problems just disappear.
Whether you're cuddled up on the couch, or peacefully doing your hair. You can be smelling the sweet scent of flowers in your garden,
Or throwing out old bread when it hardens.
But a home doesn't need four walls and a roof.
It doesn't even need to be waterproof!
Home is where you love the most.
It could be in Toronto, or somewhere on the coast!
Home is a place where you can be you.
You don't need to hide the you that is true.
It's a place with family, friends, ones that you love.
All of your problems fade away up above.
You can be yourself,
Not anyone else.
You don't need to fear,
Your family is near.
Home is where your pathway shines clear.
But the most important thing is appreciating everything.
Home can be anything.
