The Meaning of Home

Home is my favourite place to spend time with my family. It's a place where I can ski and certainly play with my friends. It’s a place to sleep and enjoy my childhood as I grow. To eat and to hang out while I have no other thing to do. On the nights when I ski with my family, I enjoy the moonlight trails as my skis glide with the breeze against my face. The late nights as I watch the stars glitter in the sky. Where I enjoy the meals to eat, and the long days as they go by. And that home where generations will be made and passed down. A home where that one furry friend will always be with you. Where we gather around to watch those late-night movies and where we celebrate all holidays together. Those funny moments as laughter is in the air. My home is my place to be able to enjoy those good and long sleeps, where I'm tucked in and don't want to wake up. It’s where I meet up after activities, my” go-to place’’ where I feel the safest at all times. Furthermore, it’s where we sit around that campfire until twelve pm and tell stories about our pasts. It’s where we work and dream about what happens next in life. I think Home is the place to be, where I'm happy. To have a family and to enjoy the upcoming years of my life, that’s home.
