Home: The Foundation of Family

Home, the place where you grow up, the place you make memories, where you grow close with your family. My home is a place where fun happens, where at night blankets keep me warm as I sleep, where I can change my blankets to my preference. A place where I can choose what I want to eat, where sometimes, me and my family go to eat at restaurants. Home is a place where I feel safe and protected, where I can sleep at night knowing I’m sheltered from the outside. Somewhere I feel at ease is my home, because I know that I have my family for when I’m scared, and I’ll also never run out of food while I’m home because I always have fresh food. I want to thank Habitat for Humanity for this amazing opportunity for all the kids across Canada to be able to give back to their community.
