My Perspective of Home
Home is where my laughter and presence is wanted, accepted, and understood. Where the people in it help me get through the true roller coaster of life. Home is where prayers fill the air with positivity and joy. It is where I learn from my mistakes and take advice from the wise. Home is where I grow and bloom everyday. I think of home as heaven on earth, a place filled with bliss and a list in my mind for the ones we have missed. Home is where I see the sun rise and set, a new beginning each day. It is where I wash away all my worries and meet with my buddies. Home is where I don't have to worry about not sleeping under a roof or if it's waterproof. It is the place where I enter without knocking. Home is where we experience the waves of sadness and the joy of life. It is where I learned to share and be fair. Home is where my silence is understood until I find words of choice to describe my inner voice. Home is where I look in the mirror, reflect, and accept. It is where I am not judged, but hugged. Home is where when my heart flutters, I know I need to clear my mental clutter. It is where sibling love is an equal balance of bugging and lots of hugging. Home is where I made my foundation with appreciation. From the day you are born to the day you are ashes everybody should have a home. Thank you so much Habitat for Humanity for getting kids like me to help make a difference.
