My Meaning of Home

To me the meaning of home is when I walk in the door, and I see my dog waiting for me and she welcomes me with lots of kisses which are a bit gross, but I still appreciate them. Home to me is also, on Friday nights when I hear the crunch of popcorn or the laughter when we are watching a funny movie. On the hard days, my dog will comfort me and give me snuggles, and my mom will give me words of wisdom and tips on how to navigate the highs and lows then she will embrace me with the warmth from her loving heart, which always makes me feel better. My home may be a bit Chaotic every now and then but I still love it and I always will. At my home I have so many memories I can't count even count them all, for example my first time riding a bike, my first time building a snowman at my new house, or bring my new puppy home for the first time, to name a Few. On the weekends I will wake up to the best alarm, my dog and then we will walk downstairs and my mum will be waiting for me and then she will ask what I want for breakfast, and we will make it. We might talk about our dreams, or we might only talk when we need to grab an ingredient but as long as we are spending time together doing it, we still count it as quality time Together. And that's why I love my home. The reason I made this is because everyone deserves a home.
