My Home

My home is not just four brick walls, it's more. My home is not just where I live, it's better than that. In my home I have a room where I feel happy and have no cares in the world. When I walk in my home I smell the delicious soups and bread my mom makes. To me, home is a place where I feel safe because I am loved. I feel warm and happy when I walk inside my home and you should too. At times, home is not warm and cozy but rather cold and foggy and I’m okay with that. Home is a place where I can go when I need to be alone. At home sometimes I cry and sometimes I yell but I am comfortable doing that at home. At home I can be myself, not just ”myself” but my TRUE self. At home I see my mom and papa, my sisters and brothers, and all the people that cared for me since day one. When I walk in my home I regenerate from the world that has sucked the life out of me. Home is where you start and where you end. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving everyone a home so they can be loved.
