There is no Other Place than Home
Home is where my brother and I fight about who is right and who is wrong.
Home is not just about how pretty you decorate the four walls, it’s about the love that fills the rooms.
Home is my parents yelling at me to clean my room, even though I disagree.
Home is about coming back from school and smelling the lovely chocolate chip muffins my grandmother made.
Home is about hearing my brother wail all the time just because he can’t get something. Home is your comfort zone.
Home is where you can share your true feelings, and emotions, and just be YOU.
There is no other place like home.
Home is place where you feel safe, secure, and harmless.
Home is where somebody notices when you are no longer there.
Home is where you can share your true identity.
Home is full of trust.
Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.
A home is made of hopes and dreams.
Home is where our story begins.
Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.
Home is not a place…it’s a feeling that you have, and that feeling is with you… forever. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity for helping those who need a house and home.
“You can have more than one home. You can carry your roots with you, and decide where they grow.” Henning Mankell
