No Place Like Home
Home can be anywhere or anything and there are many ways to describe home. I like to use the five senses. So, Sights, Sounds, Tastes, Smells and Feelings.
Sights
Normally at my at least one person is huddled up by a device. Every day at home I get to watch my younger siblings learn and grow. When I get home from school Mom is there to welcome me. February and March may be my dad’s busy season so when dad comes home it sure is a sight. In my room there are shelves of books. In my room stuffies are stuffed between the wall and the bed.
Sounds
Sometimes home is locking myself in my room and listen to Taylor Swift. Right before bed mom will read to me. I have to practice piano it’s not my favorite, but I do it.
Smells
On a cold day mom will make chocolate peanut butter pudding. My dad makes the best pancakes.
Tastes
Muffins are best on a rainy day and mac n cheese is good any day.
Feelings
At home you can feel contentment safety and love.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for making home for people who need them.
