The Meaning of Home

What is home? Well… home is a place where you can rest easy. A place where you can sleep happily knowing that you are safe, no one can hurt you. It’s a place filled with your memories. It is the place where you place your feet. A place you first crawled … and began to walk… and then run. Home saw it all. Your first steps, your first mistakes and many more. Whenever I’m frustrated I want to go home because I know that there’s nothing to be frustrated about there. Whenever you're out in the wild, You may feel cold or hot. I like to play in the snow. I take chunks of them and throw them at my friends. I roll in hills covered in snow. I get cold suddenly. My nose starts running and I feel cold. I walk home knowing that I can cover myself in a warm blanket and rest in ease. Not worrying about my nose getting runny. Not worrying about getting cold. Not worrying about anything. Home is a shelter that protects you from danger. Whenever there's a tornado or any other natural disaster, home protects you. I have precious things at home and so do you. When I feel sick I go home. When I feel sleepy I go home. When my father was sick, home took care of him. When I want to visit my family, I go home. My home is what took care of me when I was sick . To me, home is a fascinating place that has saved me many times. Without home I don't know where I would be. Home is where I belong. It will always have a place in my heart.
