What Home Means to me: essay

Home is not a place where your parents are your slaves or where you are there to live with a roof above your head. Home is a place where you learn from your mistakes and take the love from your parents and give them some too. It is a place where you can have fun and not ruin somebody else's fun because your family does not give you love. Furthermore, it is a place where the warmth of your bed is important because some people do not have a bed. And have to work all the time and all night. As a matter of fact, home is a place where you can have fun and play but it is not a place where you can play all night and have no sleep. Home is a place where you learn more knowledge to become smarter so you can get into a good college or university. Home is not a place where you goof around and break promises as my mother says ``efforts are always better than promises`. The way that she thinks is an important life lesson. My life is way better after she told me that saying. I am surprised by how what she said changed my life. Home is a place where it is important not to lie even if it is tempting to lie because you think you are going to get in big trouble. The thing is if you are honest you won't be in as much trouble if you did lie. The feeling of a warm hug is like having a warm couch sitting in front of a comfortable fire with your family. Home is not a palace where you can boss others around.
