The Place of Love

Do you know the place you go back to everyday? Where you feel safe and comfortable. Well that’s home. Home can be anything you want it to be. Home isn’t just four walls and a roof, it can be a place where you feel at ease, even a place you read or play. The home you think of is deep down in your heart. Home is sitting on the couch with a mug of hot chocolate and cookies. Home is your biggest supporters guiding you through the challenges in life. Home is a magical place that you spend hours in and never want to leave. Home is with the family and friends that love you the most. Home is having loved ones there to hug you after you've had a bad day. Home is change in the community. Home is a place where you live and although you might be lucky enough to have a home, some people are not so fortunate to have the life of others. They may not have food, water, shelter, or loved ones to survive with. Home isn't a physical place. A home is so much more than you could ever imagine. It’s not just a place that was built with stones, wood or bricks. It was made with love, joy, kindness and so much more. Home is a bigger community than anything. A home isn't just a place that has ground beneath it or shingles on the roof. Home is a community where everyone is welcome. A home can always be deep down in your heart, even if it’s real or not, it’s a place you call home. I know the place I come back to, and that’s my home. The place I feel like I can be me.
