Meaning of Home

Every day when i’m on my way home from school I always look forward to being greeted by my moms open arms and if my dad is on day sift i look forward for when he gets home to tell him all about my day while he unpacks his lunch, but this doesn't apply to coming home after school it also applies after a long day playing with friends, coming back from a sleep over and telling them all about it. What reminds me of home is any time I see a cat it immediately reminds me of when my cat would sit on my dads lap every night because my cat felt really safe with him i guess but what else reminds me of home is probably concerts I know that might sound weird because concerts are packed and the grounds are so dirty but it’s not that part that makes me feel like i’m at home it’s the music because if you come over to my house any time day or night you can hear music or my moms snoring. Whenever I'm at home what makes me feel loved is when my parents hug me with their warm loving arms. Some of the traditions that my family has is every year on christmas eve while lots of kids leave cookies and milk for santa I leave a sandwich like if we had ham that night then santa is getting a ham sandwich and sometimes he gets eggnog instead of milk but this year mrs claus is getting a ice coffee and santa is getting ham sandwich every year my mom dad and I go up to my grandparents and celebrate canada day with a big bbq and parade that happens in port dover speaking of going up to my grandparents every year for the kentucky derby we go up there and have a big party and bet on horses and you could win money everyone bets two dollars.
