Home

Home isn’t just a structure, home is a special place where I feel loved, safe, and wanted. Home is where I feel loved. I feel loved especially when my parents do things for me to show their affection, like let me play travel sports, things that some people can’t afford and for that I’m very grateful. They show their love by trusting me by letting me go places and by letting me have my own freedom and not watching my every move. I feel safe at my home. I feel safe when I can feel free and just be myself there and not have to worry about getting embarrassed or made fun of. I feel safe with my parents when I’m worried about something. When I was younger and there would be a storm, they were always there for me. I know my home is a place where I can go when I’m in trouble or when I need somewhere to go, they will always welcome me. When I’m at home I feel like I can talk to people without any judgment and they will help me with whatever I was talking about with them. When I’m at home I feel wanted. When I’m at home I feel like I am a part of a puzzle like a perfect fit. When I’m at home I’m happy and I’m always making new memories with everyone in the family. I feel like when I’m at home I’m wanted for things from playing with my sister or other family, to helping out with things around my house with my family and making it a home together. That’s how I feel when I am with my family. I love my family and I am thankful that I have a home like I have.
