The Meaning of Home

I bet you don’t know what it’s like to live at my house. What is special about my house? It is somewhere I can relax and play video games. My favorite game is called… War of Thunder. What I like about this game is that it is very realistic, and it is hard to play. When I am at home I feel happy, because when I wake up everything seems normal. I feel calm and peaceful at my home, because I know I am safe. In my home there are some smells I like. For example, I love when my Mom cooks me pork and rice. I always know it’s time to eat when I smell it cooking. Another smell I enjoy is when noodles are cooking on the stove. The smell of these foods makes me feel happy. Another time I feel happy is when my Mom cleans the floors in the house, it smells so fresh and clean. At Christmas time I got an Advent Calendar that was full of great smelling chocolate that had a Kinder egg in it.
