My Home

My home is special because it is the place where I know and can go back to when I don’t feel safe. To me a home includes my mom, my dad, my sister and last but not least, my two cats, Jack and Potato. My family is very lucky to own a house that feels warm, cozy, safe and happy. When I am not feeling good, I can go home, and I will feel SO MUCH better. Everybody’s homes are different, but nobody’s home should feel sad, scary, lonely or unhappy. Home is important to me because my home is where I live and my favourite place in the WORLD! Some people don’t have a home, but Habitat for Humanity can help, so thank you Habitat for Humanity for running this FUN writing contest every year and for reading what my home means to me!
