What Home Means To Me

I don’t really know what home would mean to me, because I have been in 3 countries. Pakistan, Turkey, and Canada. But honestly, my own house here in Winnipeg feels like home. I was in turkey for only 6-8 hours. Anyways, for 7 years of my life, I lived in Pakistan. I moved here because it’s mine and my family’s dream of moving here. Also, because Pakistan has started to get extreme weather like floods, tsunamis, and earthquakes. The government is also very evil and corrupt. Unfortunately, a war has broken out against India. Luckly my family and I left before covid 19 and any other potential threat or disaster. If my dad didn’t get a job here then, I would be suffering. Alright, I know you I threw a lot of information about Pakistan that you have to comprehend so, I’m going to talk about my time here in Canada since there’s to know of turkey. I moved here in December 2019. My family and I landed in Toronto and were greeted from My cousins. Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to stay long because our flight to Winnipeg was open. Again, we were greeted but, this time by uncle in Neepawa. Their house in Neepawa really felt like home to me. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for a month. I still miss that place to this day. I won’t ever go back there because my uncle sold it. He now lives in Brandon which I commonly visit. Even though he has a mansion and a tesla, it doesn’t really feel like home as much anymore. March 2022, it’s been 3 years since my family, and I moved here in Canada. My parents decided to book a family vacation to Toronto. My brother, and I were so eager to go visit my cousin’s house since we never got the chance to before. When our vacation ended, I can tell my brother wanted to pack his bags and straight up move there. To be honest, I would have done the same. At least, we eventually went back in November 2023. Now, it’s time to talk about my physical house. I live in an apartment in Winnipeg Sterling Lyon. I have all my favorite things in my house like my fish, my gaming console, my room etc. So that is what home is to me.
