My meaning of home

I think the meaning of home is somewhere or something that makes you feel at home. For me, home is Halifax. Home isn't just my house. Yes, I love my house. But there are so many places and things that are home to me. So I decided to chose Halifax! I chose Halifax because, like I said, there are so many places, things, and people that are home. For example, I have friends here in Halifax and they are so kind and caring. Also, I love my school and my teachers. My house of course is one of the most important things here to me, my parents are really nice, and my labrador retriever Felix too! Those are a few reasons why Halifax is my home. I think having something or somewhere that makes you feel at home is important because, I think everyone wants to feel safe and loved. Having somewhere to go when you are feeling sad, or alone, or maybe even happy! I love Halifax so much and I always will.
