Habitat For Humanity - Home
Home isn’t just a structure, home isn’t just a place I sleep. Home is a place where I feel loved, safe and myself. It’s where I laugh with my family and friends. A place where I argue. A place I truly understand.
This is a place where I wake up in the morning and smell burnt bacon, talk with loved ones and enjoy every second I have. Having food on my plate, struggles through life, whether it’s stuck on homework, drama with friends or not having a good outfit, there's always someone at home to support me. I have a family who loves me.
Singing karaoke, dancing, laughing, watching movies, playing at the park, it’s lovely, it’s enjoyable, it’s home. Acting funny, being serious, having anger. It’s all a part of home. Family is home, family is great, family is everything. My sister and I argue, support each other and love one another. All a part of life. My mom helps me, gives me positive energy, loves me, feeds me and takes care of me. My dad, he's great, smart, funny, strong and spoils me. It's amazing, he’s amazing.
Family is just what I need to feel at home. I love home. It’s comfortable, it’s warm, it’s cozy. It’s special. Where I am loved and entertained. Many moments, pictures on walls, rugs on the floor, two cats to keep me company, a loving mom, a loving sister and dad.
Somewhere I love to be, somewhere I enjoy being, so many great memories. Home can be a lot of things, but this is what home means to me.
