Home is where your family is.

Home is like a hot cup of cocoa on a cold winter night. Home is where joy fills the air. Home is not just where you live, it is where your family and friends are. Home is safe and where memories are made that will stay with you forever. Home is where you grow up and to me, it's where my mom, dad and two sisters are found. Home is filled with laughter and pictures that are like memories forever. My dad’s famous pasta smell fills the air and we all run to the table for the best meal. At my house I can't forget when we gather on the sofa and share all the best joy and laughter. Home is my dad making a skating rink in the backyard. We would skate for hours. I will never ever forget how much I love my family. My parents' wise words guide me. Home is where we are taught right from wrong. Home is where we are with the ones we love. Home is where we feel safe and secure. Home is where everybody is together forever. That is what home is to me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving this opportunity to children all across Canada to help those in need.
