Home.

To me, home should be a place where you can feel relief, comfort and be relaxed whenever you are in it. Home is where I can meet all my basic needs, and it is also a place where you live with people you love too. When I get home from school, I know that right when I step in the door I can relax. Sometimes I might watch something on tv. Sometimes I might even take a nap. I might also start playing my games on my laptop because to me, playing games is fun whether it is board or video game. This is something that makes my house feel like home. When I come home, I can often smell the delicious lasagna or chicken parmesan cooking on the stove. I know I can meet my basic needs at my house whether it is food, drinks, or medical supplies and more. To me a basic need is more than food, it can be social media and games, because social media is an effortless way to stay connected with friends and family that may not live near you. Games are a basic need because they are fun, and they make me feel at home. This also makes my house feel like home. You do not just live with your loved ones, but you eat with them, laugh with them, watch movies with them, make memories with them and much more. One of my favourite things to do with loved ones is go places with them. It builds an unbreakable bond with them, and you build so many memories. Home is so much more than just sleeping there and eating there, it is so much more. It is where you make so many memories with friends and family. Where you have your own space to be you and relax. You can meet all your basic needs with delicious hot meals. These are all just some of the things that home means to me.
