The Meaning of Home

Home is when I can go downstairs and sit by the warm fire. Home is also when I can lay in my cozy and comfortable bed to read a book. I love to roam free around my home and play. Home is when I can spend time playing dolls or Mario Kart with my siblings. Home is where I feel safe and warm. I am surrounded by family ,friends and pets all the time and home is where we make memories. Home is where we share love and laughter. Home is where we share our food with family and friends and get lots on our plates to eat. We can always go outside to play on the trampoline or zipline. The gardens we grow are always healthy and have little insects on every plant. You can see the bunnies eat and play out from the house window. Home is where we celebrate holidays and traditions with all our family and friends who we love. Home is where you are happy and home is where you are sad, but you are never alone and there will always be someone to help you. Home is when we can watch a movie and eat popcorn with a drink and be cozy together. At home we can craft and make new things. We can invite friends over for playdates and sleepovers. I love to celebrate my and other birthdays when they come. I can always come home from school to the smell of fresh cookies and meals. Home is where we all feel free to be who we are but it's not about having a big house, a small house or no house it's about always having family to comfort us and support us.
