My Home

I get home from school, go in through the door and I smell my mom's chili throughout the house. My mom comes over to say ``how was your day at school? '' I say good and cold. I talked to my mom about how it would be to be without a home. After my dad comes home we all eat dinner with the hot chili and buns. I discuss how it would be to not have a house or a warm meal like chili. It's nice and warm in this house. After We watche a Christmas movie. After that I get ready for bed while my mum reads me a story and tucks me in. I fall asleep and dream of good thoughts and bad thoughts like how people with no homes feel right now probably cold, tired and sad. I also think about how lucky I am to have a home and can go to school. I also think about what my home means to me like my family and how they put a roof over my head and give me a bed, a room of my own and food. I think of how I could act to change the homelessness problems. Maybe I could right a letter to the mayor of trying to make the houses more affordable for people or at least give them some food. And I fell right asleep. And when i get home i feel safe. Home is where i come home every day Home is where i eat dinner with my mom and dad. Home is where i can feel
