This is what home feels like

Home is not just four walls and a roof. It is where you can feel safe and loved and not have to worry about being alone because there will always be someone in your home. That will take care of you and love you. Home isn't just one house. There are many different places where you feel safe and not worried about anything. It could be a grandparents house, it can be anywhere that you feel safe. Home is a safe place where you will never be worried about something happening and being alone. Home is a place that you can live in and spend your whole happy childhood with. Or you might be in a different house but the first house you ever lived in will never have as many memories as the first house. Because when you move it doesn't feel like the house you're in does not have all the memories, all the love. All the laughter and happiness and the smell will be different. But the most important memories is your family. That is the most important thing, not anything that is more important than your family. Because you grew up with your family, those are the memories you made with. Your family and you feeling safe with your family and not being alone because you will always have someone to make you laugh and smile. You will never stay in a fight with a sibling, your mom, your dad or anybody that you feel safe with because you care about them and will never want to be on their bad side because you love them and care about them. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving people a place where they can feel safe and not worried about what will happen and if they will ever feel safe again.
