A House, A Home
I don’t like houses.
Cold, walls, paint and carpet.
I feel down when I’m in a house.
Tense, despairing, sadness and ick.
Houses are depressing wherever you are.
Empty, mould, wood and stones.
Homes are better and soon you’ll see.
Warmth, caring, happy and love.
I feel up when I’m in a home.
Genial, cuddle, snuggle and sleep.
Homes are somewhere you can smile in a pinch.
Sunny, super, sparkling and satisfied.
You don’t have a place when you’re in a house.
The true comfort zone is a home.
