Home: A Place of Joy and Laughter

Home, a place of joy and laughter. A place where I feel safe and warm. It is my sanctuary, my place where I get love, peace and support. My home is not just a house it is my home, it is my heart. When I am at home I can smell my mothers cooking and hear my father talking with his loud voice. I can see my brother reading with stacks of books by his side and I can feel the strong floor underneath my feet. Home is my happy place where I am with my family and making memories. I am thankful for my home for many, many reasons, for example it gives me a cozy place to live in and sleep in. It is the place where I feel the most connections with my parents, siblings and my ancestors. My home is one of the most important things to me because it is where I was born, raised and I have lived here my whole life. I think everyone should have a home, and a safe spot where they can find help. Thank you Habitat for Humanity. I am so grateful for you to be building homes for those in need.
