A Place for Everyone
A home is not just a structure built out of bricks but with love. A place where you feel safe, without a care. Where you can go home for dinner. Where you smell your favorite food being made.
A home is where you can sit down at the dinner table and taste the wonderful food that your parents made just for you. Where you can sit down and talk forever and people hear what you have to say. A place where you can host and goof around. A place where you can stay.
A home is where everyone cares about you even though you didn’t clean your messy room.
A home is a place where you can be excited to go after a long day. A place where you share memories, the good and the bad.
A home is where you shouldn’t be scared of the monster under your bed. Where you can feel comfortable and can share a hug with someone. Where you can cuddle with your cat, even though he broke your favorite toy.
A home is where you walk your dog even though you want to play video games. Where you can feel the love like a warm blanket wrapped around you. A place where everyone gets along, even the dog and cat.
A home is where you can share your feelings and talk about the ups and downs. A place where you can cry together or laugh together.
Home is a place where you can huddle up on the couch and watch a movie that makes you laugh or cry.
A home is where your love is.
Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making houses for people who can’t afford it. I hope you continue spreading love through a home, a place for everyone!
