HOME Home is a place where love and laughter fill the halls Home can be a feeling not just walls It is a place of joy, where fears melt away and where you thrive with your family every day It is where unconditional support comes back and forth And where being cared for feels like cuddling up with your favorite book while smelling the food your mom had cooked Home is where we grow, where we learn which path to go It is what makes us feel full of pride And gives us a pip in our stride Home truly is my sanctuary and where I find courage within me It is where I have as many encouraging people as deep as the sea Home truly is a lovely place For it is a peaceful space Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving a chance for everyone in Canada to feel the feeling of Home.
