Meaning of Home

Home sweet home. Home is a safe place. It’s roof keeps you safe from dangerous weather such as thunderstorms, blizzards and even hail. Home feels warm and safe because I am with my family. The air of home smells like the sweet aroma of my mum’s scented candles. Home is where your family loves and cares for you. After school or work you can relax in your cozy and comfortable bed and rest after a long day of hard work. Home is where your family cooks great food for you. Home feels like fun and joy. Everyone deserves a home. Home smells fresh and sweet. In my home I see a colourful and shiny assortment of decorations. I feel my warm and smooth couch. I hear the musical and the soft melody of my piano. Home tastes like good food prepared by my mom. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes.
