The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is family, I think that everyone deserves to have a loving family wherever they are living. Another very important meaning of home is warmth. When I think of home I think warm and cozy even though I know some people don’t have a family with them or don’t have a family at all. Some people don’t even have a place that’s warm and cozy and it makes me very sad. The meaning of home is not just the physical structure but the surrounding community. I am very grateful for my home because my home is where my heart is. I did not want to join the Habitat for Humanity contest because I would maybe get a prize for myself.I joined the contest to help people in need of a home. For 1 person to join the contest,Habitat for Humanity gets 10 dollars. All of my class is joining the contest.I have 26 people in my class. That means that 260 dollars gets donated to Habitat for Humanity and if someone in my class wins that means that Habitat for Humanity gets so much money to help their great cause. The Meaning of Home is so much more than just a structure.
