When you think of a house , you think of a building filled with furniture. There’s a difference between a house, and a home. What makes a home is a family that loves, laughs, cries, and makes special memories together. Your family is what makes your house a home. Everything in a home has a story attached to it. That can of tomato sauce in your pantry that mom uses to make her delicious homemade spaghetti, or taking a walk down memory lane. That memory lane is your hallway filled with family pictures. No matter how big or small your home is, it holds the same amount of memories. I know what it’s like to get your home “robbed” , when I lost my dad last year. A part of my home and heart are gone. One day we’ll meet again when we’re all in our new home above. Thanks Habitat for humanity for building houses for others to create memories, a place they can call home.
