The Meaning of Home

The majority of people would say that home is not just a box that we live in, but to me, it’s like a box containing the majority of all the happy and sad memories of our childhood. A place where we rested and ate for the most memorable part of our lives. For me, home is a place where I cried many more tears of sadness than laughter or happiness. Of course all of our lives weren’t perfect and sometimes we feel unsure, unsafe and not completely loved or sure, sometimes we don’t feel safe at home but I still love my home even after everything we have gone through during my short eleven year life. The reason why I can and am saying this, is because when I am having the longest or toughest days, I can see and be greeted by my loving family. That is what home means to me.
