Home

Home is our favorite place. It welcomes us to each day, and is there at the end of every day. It shields us from the cold, snow, sleet, hail, rain, hurricanes and storms. It provides warmth in the winter, a warm hug. And refreshing cold in the summer, like sipping a cold drink. We choose how to decorate our home, so each and every corner possesses the things we have chosen with so much care. Birthdays and celebrations are alive in the walls. Family is under this roof. Togetherness has been felt within it. A house is a building, a structure, but home is a feeling. A feeling of togetherness, safety, welcome, and so much more. As day replaces night, we will feel home. We alone know all the best hiding spots for hide and seek. The familiar smell of a burning candle, or the sound of the laundry machine reminds us of home. Home is so much more than a building.
