My Amazing Home
Home is a place where I am safe and loved. In my home, love comes from the hugs from my parents. When my parents hug me and my brother, we feel warm. In my home, our plants give us clean air. My mom gives them fresh water every Friday and makes sure they don’t die. In my home, my bed is soft and warm, so when I am sleeping, I am warm. In my home, laughter comes from my dad, when he tickles me and my brother. In our basement, me and my brother play with our toys. In our basement, I like to draw and paint, while my brother plays with his nerf guns. I like sharing the space with him because I don’t like being alone in the basement. In our kitchen, me and my brother help my mom and dad cook. My brother and I like to eat ice cream and chips in the kitchen. In our home, tradition comes from my families Korean culture. During Lunar New Year, me and my brother wear traditional Korean clothes called a Hanbok. My dress is black and my top is red. My brother and I bow down to our grandparents and our parents give us money. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping children have a safe and loving home like mine and making our community grow stronger.
