My Meaning of Home

Home is cooking dinner with my family and trying new recipes. Sometimes you make a mess, but sometimes, it's a success. Home is warming up by the fireplace with your family after being outside in the cold. Home is where you step inside your home, you feel the warmth of your family’s hugs, and have hot chocolate in a mug. You are going to be fine no matter what. Home is where you take your first steps and learn your first words. It is when your parents say “yay!” Home is safe because you know you are going to be okay. Home is laughter, joy, and happiness. It is where I feel the happiest. Home is where my family is, and that's how it always is. A house is somewhere you live, and it was built with work, money, and bricks. But a home is where you get happiness when you step inside, knowing it was built with love, care, support, and happiness. And that is my meaning of home.
