Home: A Safe Place

Home is a place you should feel safe. Home isn’t just where you live, its somewhere you can be yourself. I am grateful to have a home, because not all kids have a home to feel loved and safe. Home feels like a warm embrace, nice and safe. Not all homes have walls and roofs, home can be friendship. Home is anywhere you feel comfortable and safe. Home is somewhere you can express your feelings, like you can spread your wings and be free. Home can be with your friends, friends who make you feel loved. When you’re at home you should feel happy, but not all people do. I’m glad I have a home to feel comfortable enough to express how I feel. Home feels all warm and fuzzy like a nice big hug. Home is peace.
