Home is a happy place

By Elsie DesRoches Home is where my dog snuggles me cozy and tight. Home is where I sleep in my bed and my parents say “have a good night's sleep” and give me a hug and a kiss. Home is when I get home from school and I smell a delicious dinner baking ready to eat. Home is a place for joy, warmth, peace and safety. Home is a place to get cozy and watch tv or a movie. Everyone deserves a place because if a storm comes we need to be safe. I wish everyone had a home. Home is a place of family, friends, laughter, safety, joy, warmth, cozy, tv, a good night sleep, blanket, toys, pets, and love.
