Meaning of Home
For me, a house is not only walls, doors, and a roof. My home means love, laughter, memories, and emotions. It feels warm, safe, and cozy. There are good and bad memories.
When my mom cooks dinner, my sister and I race to the dining table. We love my mom’s food so much sometimes we fight over who gets the first bite.
A place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. A place to build memories as well to build future wealth. A place where we can truly just be ourselves. It is also the place we feel most comfortable, loved, and protected, where we most feel at home. I am on cloud nine living with my loved ones.
Whether our houses are big, small, fancy, or modest, they are our shelter and our sanctuaries. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity, for giving people the chance to live in a home
