Not a house, a home
Home, what is home? To some it's their couch or bed, maybe even toys and books, but what do I think is home? Is a home just four walls and a roof, or is it something more than that?
I think home is a place where you can just put on your headphones and just zone out for a moment without having to worry for your safety, a place where you know you will be loved, a place where you can know that it's okay to make a mistake because no matter what there will always be people who love you to help you find your path in this awesome journey.
A home is a home because it has amazing people in it, the beautiful memories you make and the love you give and receive. The sweet smell of the delicious food your mother makes, the new things your father teaches you and the silly arguments you have with your siblings. This is what makes it a home. The people there make you who you are, and they will always help you be who you want to be. A place where you have arguments, but at the end of the day your love for each other is unconditional.
A house is bricks, concrete and wood, but a home is different. A home is a place where you can have ups and downs, but you always will have the people there to make you feel special no matter what the case is. It’s a place where you find your piece in the terrific puzzle of life.
No matter where in the world you go, your home will always follow you because of the amazing people who make it a home.
