My Home

My home is where love grows making me feel safe physically and mentally. Keeping me warm when it's winter and dry when it rains. Cozy in the fall and cool in the summer It keeps me happy and cozy like a nice warm glass of hot chocolate with whip cream and marshmallows on Christmas Day. The cat toys and cat fur scattered around the house represents the cats that wait for me by the door before coming home from school and my dad waiting by the door and greeting me with a big hug. Me my dad and my cats like to watch movies together in the basement and we eat buttery popcorn while the scent of butter fills the room my oldest cat Lola sleeps on our big bean bag and my youngest cat pickle sleeps on me laying on his back and has his soft little belly facing the roof. I know I will always be safe and supported by my loved ones around me playing board games and other games laughing telling jokes and having fun I will always love my home it's the best place ever some people say outdoors is their happy place others say their room but me I say my whole home my backyard my room my basement everything. A house is just a building, a home is love the people around you and the happiness it holds.
