What Is A Home

A house is walls, roof and a ceiling, but what is a home? A home is the glow of a flickering candle. Home is where I feel laughter on my shoulders. Home is where I feel a warm heated hug. Home is where I see a snow-covered driveway and blades of grass in summer. a home is where you feel safe. Home is where your heart shines bright. Home smells like Vanilla and caramel. Home is the smell of a tangy pizza that just came out of the oven, yum! Home is the smell of bacon sizzling on a Sunday morning. Home is where I feel cherished and safe. Home is where I taste warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie that came right out of my oven. Thank you, Habitat, for Humanity for putting a smile on the worlds face!
